Connecting the X-Link cable to your Rebreather
Liquivision recommends that you send in your rebreather head to the rebreather manufacturer or to an authorized service centre to get the cable wired into your rebreather head. Incorrect installation (including incorrect wiring) can damage or destroy your rebreather or your X-Link, or cause the rebreather, the X-Link, or the X1 dive computer to malfunction, resulting in incorrect information while diving (which could lead to injury or death).
You can find some information on connecting the X-Link cable to your rebreather below. These suggestions have been provided by divers as a courtesy to the diving community and as guidance only. These instructions have NOT been reviewed, tested, or approved by the rebreather manufacturer or Liquivision, and are not guaranteed to be safe or to constitute best practices. Each diver is solely responsible for any and all loss or damage (including personal injury or death) resulting from following these instructions. In no event will the writer, Liquivision or any other person be liable for any loss or damage (including personal injury or death) arising from, connected with, or relating to these instructions.
These instructions describe how to connect a Fischer X-Link, via a Fischer Cable, to your rebreather. Connecting a Hardwired X-Link may be different. Contact your rebreather manufacturer for more information.
